Community Garden
We are looking for volunteers to help us out with the garden project. If you are interested, head over to our volunteer signup page and indicate that you are interested in volunteering for the Edible Forest committee. We would love to have you join us!

Our community band was 1 of 5 organizations across Canada to be chosen for a $2,500 grant from Scotts Canada to grow a community garden, with the potential for another $2,500 if we win the contest for growing the best garden.
Our goal is to provide free healthy food to our community. So EVERYTHING we grow will be given out to the community for free when it's ripe!
Here's a link to Scotts Canada's website to see what this program is all about and who the other winners were.

seaforest project

We are always working towards a healthier, stronger community. As mentioned in the image above, this idea came from youth in community for us to investigate. We are working towards establishing a marine conservation seaforest in our area. This will require a separate corporate entity then our not-for-profit to be formed as this project develops and unfolds with community input and support.
