  • Smudging & Our Medicines (why/how/when to smudge, our traditional medicines: how to use, how to harvest while respecting our earth mother) 
  • Being L’nu (what it means to be Mi’kmaw, our values, significance of the phrase “All My Relations”, our responsibilities as Indigenous people, card-carrying vs. cultural)   
  • Our Ceremonies (which ones are here in NL, which ones do we need to travel to attend, earning the right to hold ceremonies and the different roles within ceremonies)
  • Traditional Roles of Women & Men (lifegivers & protectors, roles within our community: Elders, Knowledge Keepers, Helpers, Fire Keepers, Pipe Carriers, Sweat Lodge Keepers, and more)
