Join us as we gather as a community to honour Residential School and Indian Day School survivors and those who didn't return. On this day, we also renew our pledge against bullying and racism. This year, we also celebrate the fact that despite it all, OUR PEOPLE ARE STILL HERE!

About the event

EVERY CHILD MATTERS is a belief that all children are important, including those who are losing their lives, those left behind at residential schools, and the adults who are still healing from the trauma they endured. 

Schedule:

1:00: Welcomes, Opening Prayer, Smudge, Honour Song

1:30 - 3:30: Cultural Activities (Medicine Walk/Drumming & Singing/Attachment Heart Activity for youth)

3:30: Guest Speaker (Dr. Elder Andrea Simon)

4:30: Feast
