About the event
Our community band was 1 of 5 organizations across Canada to be chosen for a $2,500 grant from Scotts Canada to grow a community garden, with the potential for another $2,500 if we win the contest for growing the best garden. We need your help!
We have received our seeds, supplies, and everything else we need to plant our garden. Now they need to get in the ground.
This Saturday, June 3rd, starting at 9:00 a.m., we will start the planting at the HAS Community Garden on Park Drive. Please drop by to help us do some of this planting if you can spare some time during the day. Everyone is welcome!
EVERYTHING we grow will be given out to the community for free when it's ripe!
